Job Summary

The National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a skilled Community Clinician to join our team in Licking County. As an IHBT Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing counseling and therapy services to children and families in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, and transportation to meet or exceed established outcomes thresholds.
  • Travel daily to provide community-based services to youth and families, ensuring compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely manner and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with assigned foster parents and families of origin, providing support and advocacy as needed.
  • Assist in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts, ensuring consistent progress and success on written plan goals.
  • Provide safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required to ensure safety and stability for youth served.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
  • LSW or LPC required.
  • Experience in providing individual and family therapy, with a strong preference for experience working in direct service with youth and families.
  • Experience with TF-CBT is also preferred.
  • Daily travel is required, with the willingness to meet clients on a flexible schedule or during non-traditional hours if needed.
  • Must be comfortable providing services in the community and in client homes.
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones, and tablets, as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
