About the Opportunity

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Site Manager to lead our Cardiovascular Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the unit, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care, and driving excellence in quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the Cardiovascular Unit, ensuring efficient use of resources and high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies that enhance patient outcomes, improve satisfaction, and reduce readmissions.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with staff, physicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and integration of care.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for growth, making recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Mentor and support staff development, providing coaching and training to enhance skills and competencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cardiovascular nursing or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
