Job Overview

The Accounting Director plays a critical role in overseeing the Accounting Department at NVT Staffing. This position ensures that accounting operations are conducted in compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting operations: Oversee the company day-to-day accounting activities.
  • Ensure financial accuracy: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Compliance with GAAP: Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulatory requirements.
  • Audit coordination: Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits and resolve any findings in a timely manner.
  • Accounting analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of accounting data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Cash flow management: Monitor and manage cash flow to meet operational needs.
  • Staff supervision: Supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and training on accounting practices and procedures.
  • Policies and procedures: Establish and reinforce accounting policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and accuracy across the organization.
  • Tax compliance: Ensure timely and accurate submission of corporate tax returns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP, accounting analysis, and reporting standards.
