Nursing Leader for Long-Term Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at The Laurels of University Park. This is an excellent opportunity for career advancement and growth in a long-term care setting.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse (RN) at The Laurels, you will be responsible for supervising the care services provided by our team members, ensuring safe and accurate medication-related interventions, and assessing the health of our guests. You will also develop plans of care based on assessment and implement nursing interventions to stabilize guest conditions.
You will contribute to guest assessments and develop comprehensive care plans tailored to meet their unique needs. With your expertise, you will provide high-quality patient care while promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the care services provided by LPNs, CNAs, and other team members
- Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions
- Assess and notify physicians of changes in guest status and promptly implement new orders
- Develop and implement plans of care based on assessment
- Contribute to guest assessments and develop comprehensive care plans
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state
- CPR certification
