Tenet-Alabama is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join their team in Homewood, Alabama.

Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, utilizing your expertise in respiratory care to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited respiratory care program.
  • RCP or equivalent State licensure; CRT, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts.
