Role Summary

Mindful Care is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Community Engagement Specialist with a clinical background. This role uniquely combines clinical intake with business development, focusing on cultivating relationships within the healthcare community to establish effective referral networks and ensure optimal patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic selling skills, data analysis capabilities, and a collaborative spirit to work across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Referral Development:
  • Design and implement a targeted strategy to consistently attract referrals from healthcare professionals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers to create mutually beneficial referral pathways that support organizational goals.
  • Organize and participate in events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services and foster connections.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth referral processes and service delivery.
  • Marketing Initiatives:
  • Work with the marketing department to develop promotional materials that showcase our mental health services.
  • Deliver presentations to healthcare professionals to highlight the advantages of referring patients to our organization.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Utilize data insights to refine strategies and enhance outreach efforts.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of business development activities.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions, events, and referral sources on a weekly basis.
  • Document processes and insights related to referral management.
  • Gather feedback from referral sources to identify areas for improvement in targeting and service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in community relations, business development, or a related field, preferably within mental health.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in data management and tracking systems.
  • Ability to navigate complex environments and make informed decisions with limited information.
  • Must possess a personal computer and reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusivity.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time with flexible hours.
  • In-office presence required on designated days.
  • Fieldwork as necessary in the local area.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate between $30 and $40.
