The Global Creative Studio team within US Marketing, Brand, and Global Strategic Initiatives is responsible for supporting the creative strategy and execution across Franklin Templeton's global business functions.

The Visual Communication Specialist at Franklin Templeton is a mid-level designer aiming to excel in all areas of Graphic Design. This role involves developing proficiency in various aspects of the Franklin Templeton Creative Studio offerings, including Layout, Concept Development, Typography, Basic Video Editing, Online Banner Creation, and adhering to Franklin Templeton's Accessibility standards. The specialist will strive to enhance these skills and expand the Creative Studio's capabilities. Reporting to the Creative Director for US Marketing, Brand, and Global Strategic Initiatives, they will be expected to execute creative projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities of a Visual Communication Specialist - US Marketing:

  • Manage workflow effectively: Proactively oversee project management across all production areas, collaborating with the Creative Director, Lead Graphic Designers, and Production Manager to prioritize tasks as new projects arise and communicate any changes to delivery timelines.
  • Ensure timely delivery of regional collateral and digital assets, including videos, online banners, imagery, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with Creative Studio team members on creative projects while taking direction from the Creative Director or Lead Graphic Designer.
  • Master all elements of the FT Creative Studio offerings and apply them in Workflow Management.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance efficiencies in the production process to expedite information delivery.
  • Develop and create layouts for various mediums, including basic video, digital, and print.
  • Engage directly with clients to discuss briefs and navigate the design process.
  • Identify common design challenges and pursue innovative solutions while working within a small team.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Financial Services is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Graphic Design and Presentations.
  • Continually expand knowledge of the company, processes, and clientele.
  • Perform a variety of tasks related to graphic layout.
  • Utilize established guidelines or policies in evaluating situations.
  • Work independently with guidance in complex scenarios.
  • Proficient in graphic design and editing software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premiere, After Effects (Adobe Creative Cloud), and Figma.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
