Role Summary

Mindful Care is seeking a proactive and dedicated Community Engagement Specialist based in the Fairfield or Westchester counties. This pivotal role merges clinical insight with business development, focusing on cultivating relationships within the medical community to establish mutually beneficial referral networks and connect patients with appropriate care. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic sales skills, data analysis capabilities, marketing expertise, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Referral Development:
    • Design and implement a comprehensive strategy to attract a consistent flow of referrals from healthcare providers.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare professionals to create effective referral pathways that support organizational goals.
    • Plan and execute a cohesive events strategy, including organizing and participating in conferences and networking opportunities to promote our services.
    • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth coordination of referrals and service delivery.
  • Marketing Initiatives:
    • Work alongside the marketing team to develop promotional materials that showcase our mental health services.
    • Deliver informative presentations to medical professionals, highlighting the advantages of referring patients to our organization.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor strategies, and potential growth areas.
    • Utilize data insights to refine strategies and uncover new growth opportunities.
    • Evaluate and report on the success of business development efforts.
  • Data Tracking and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of interactions, visits, events, and referral sources on a weekly basis.
    • Document processes and observations related to referral management.
    • Solicit feedback from referral sources to identify areas for improvement in targeting and service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in community relations, business development, or discharge planning, preferably within the mental health sector.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in data management and experience in developing tracking systems.
  • Adept at navigating complex environments and making informed decisions with limited information.
  • Must possess a personal computer and have reliable transportation.
  • Supportive of LGBTQ+ initiatives.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time with flexible hours.
