Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Aide to join our team at Phoebe Ministries. As a Kitchen Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities. Your responsibilities will include washing and sanitizing pots and pans, washing dishes, maintaining trash removal and general floor care, and performing daily/weekly cleaning assignments. You will also be responsible for receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies, and assisting the Chef de Cuisine with resident meal service. If you have a strong work ethic and a friendly demeanor, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Wash and sanitize pots and pans in the main kitchen
  • Wash dishes as needed in the main dish room
  • Maintain trash removal and general floor care of the main kitchen and adjacent areas
  • Perform daily/weekly cleaning assignments as defined on cleaning system guidelines
  • Receive and properly store all deliveries of food and supplies to assigned storage areas per regulatory standards
  • Assist the Chef de Cuisine with resident meal service

Requirements:
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families, and co-workers
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
