Senior Quality Assurance Professional for Global Supply Chain

As a Senior Quality Assurance Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our global supply chain. You will be responsible for managing the development and administration of supplier assurance activities, maintaining compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, processes, and controls.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in an FDA/ISO certified environment. Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills are essential, as well as the ability to hold others accountable and manage multiple priorities.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $95,000 to $190,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Abbott Laboratories offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical coverage, retirement savings, tuition reimbursement, and education benefits.
As a Senior Quality Assurance Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the Supplier Quality Operations and ensuring compliance with Applicable Regulations ISO13485 and CFR820
- Assessing and managing all resource needs within the department
- Managing all activities related to Supplier Quality in accordance with policy, including supplier selection and evaluation, material qualification, inspection procedure development, supplier corrective action, supplier assessments, and supplier performance reviews
- Defining, justifying, acquiring, and implementing inspection test equipment to meet specified needs
- Developing, training, implementing, and continuously approving upon department policies and procedures
- Ensuring departmental compliance with Division SOPs and procedures
- Providing timely performance and developmental evaluations of departmental staff
- Complying with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments
