Peer Review Coordinator RN

HCA Capital Division is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Peer Review Coordinator. This position is responsible for performing patient medical record information extraction for physician reviews, preparing timely and accurate reports, and ensuring data integrity through routine validation and data entry methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract patient medical record information for physician reviews
- Prepare timely and accurate reports for internal and external entities
- Ensure data integrity through routine validation and data entry methods
- Interact with Medical Staff, Administration, Department Leaders, and staff in the performance of physician reviews, screenings for reviews, aggregating data, and improvement for Medical Staff Committees
- Perform additional retrospective and/or concurrent patient medical record abstraction of clinical data for organizational Quality Assurance and performance improvement activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' clinical experience required
- Moderate to advanced computer skills, including spreadsheet, database, and data entry proficiency
- RN preferred with a valid Virginia nursing license; BSN or MSN preferred
