Job Title: Medical Assistant

Integrated Oncology Network, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology departments.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will provide clinical support services, assist with clerical duties, and maintain patient care documentation in medical records. This position requires a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register new patients and update medical records
  • Take vital signs and assist with medical procedures
  • Schedule external labs, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments
  • Obtain necessary clinical documents for patient charts
  • Update medical records and maintain accurate documentation
  • Organize examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
  • Dispose of contaminated supplies and maintain a clean work environment
  • Follow up on patient calls and schedule appointments
  • Coordinate dictation schedules and assist with verifying health insurance coverage
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Certified or eligible for certification as a Medical Assistant in the state of employment
  • Current CPR certification
  • PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of two years experience in a medical setting
Preferred Skills:
  • Oncology and/or Radiology experience
  • Prior EMR experience
