Medical Assistant 2, Multispecialty-Urology

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant 2 to join our Community Health Partners team in Fresno, CA. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
As a Medical Assistant 2, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing patient urgency and priority to ensure timely and effective care
- Taking and forwarding messages to healthcare professionals
- Supporting patient flow and experience by taking vital signs, giving injections, and graphing weight, height, and blood pressure
- Ensuring that appropriate tests are completed prior to the doctor's examination
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate
- Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California
- At least 1 year of experience in the medical field
- Previous experience in giving injections
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
