Powder Applicator Job Description

At Janco Industries Inc, we are seeking a skilled Powder Applicator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for applying powder coatings to metal parts using automated and manual powder guns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate automatic and manual powder guns to apply powder coatings to metal parts.
  • Set up and maintain powder application equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform visual quality control checks to ensure high-quality finishes.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, including powder booths and system components.
  • Document powder usage and inventory levels to support efficient production.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in metal fabrication manufacturing or powder coating preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
