Powder Coating Specialist

At Janco Industries, we are seeking a skilled Powder Applicator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for priming and powder coating parts using automatic and manual powder guns.

The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, producing high-quality parts, and adhering to company core values.

• Operate automatic and manual powder guns to apply powder to parts
• Perform visual quality control during application
• Clean all system components, nozzles, and tubing between color changes and at the end of the shift
• Check and confirm accurate chemical levels in the wash system
• Document powder usage to support accurate inventory levels

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in metal fabrication manufacturing with prior powder experience
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Physical demands include standing, walking, and handling/fingering
