We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Regional Director to lead our team in providing essential services to refugees in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. As a key member of our organization, you will oversee all aspects of resettlement, including pre-arrival planning, core services, and ongoing support. Your expertise will be crucial in building strong partnerships with local employers, community organizations, and government agencies to ensure the self-sufficiency of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee local staff in providing case management, employment, and English language learning services.
  • Lead job readiness and job development initiatives, promoting partnerships with local employers to identify quality job opportunities.
  • Conduct community outreach initiatives to support refugees, including volunteer recruitment and coordination.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Case Management to provide high-quality case management services.
  • Ensure compliance with leasing and finance departments for housing and budgets.
  • Coordinate program components, including service delivery, data collection, and reporting.
  • Ensure volunteer compliance with the Safe Agency Policy.
  • Serve as the local public face of the agency, interacting with volunteers, coalition members, and the public.

Qualifications:

  • College degree in public administration, social work, or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years' experience working in a non-profit or government social service or job development agency.
  • Experience working with community and business partners in Monmouth and Ocean Counties preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and creatively problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel in the Monmouth and Ocean County region.
