About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at WMC Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and delivering exceptional imaging examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other departments to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Perform mammographic diagnosing procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain equipment and records, reporting any issues or concerns to the QC Technologist or Manager.
  • Provide high-quality mammography examinations and technical procedures, adhering to departmental protocols.
  • Document patient care and equipment records, performing all clerical duties as directed.
  • Participate in education and training of departmental personnel on quality assurance and professional advancements.
Requirements
  • Preferred one year of technical experience and one year of mammography experience.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registered by the A.R.R.T. in Radiologic Technology and Mammography, with a valid New York State Radiographic license from the Department of Health.
  • ARRT(M) certification is mandated by ACR accreditation, with a Mammography Registry (AART [M]) certification to be obtained within one year of hire date.
