About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at HealthAlliance Hospital. As a key member of our Breast Health Center, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and imaging examinations.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other departments to ensure seamless care.
  • Perform mammographic diagnosing procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Conduct quality control checks on equipment and report any issues to the QC Technologist or Manager.
  • Document patient care and equipment records accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in education and training of departmental personnel on quality assurance and professional advancements.
  • Assist radiologists and surgeons in performing mammotome biopsies and needle localization of the breast.
Requirements
  • Preferred one year of technical experience and one year of mammography experience.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registered by the A.R.R.T. in Radiologic Technology and Mammography.
  • Valid New York State Radiographic license from the Department of Health.
  • ARRT(M) certification is mandated by ACR accreditation.
