The Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our displays and shelf items are consistently stocked, organized, and well-maintained. This position involves assisting with various tasks, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in locating products and addressing inquiries.
  • Construct, update, and replenish displays for beer, wine, and spirits.
  • Maintain shelves in a fully stocked and orderly manner, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Efficiently process wine deliveries and assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Verify product placement against shelf tags.
  • Monitor and manage vintage changes, ensuring proper handling of new arrivals.
  • Keep cold storage areas adequately stocked.
  • Perform light cleaning duties and address spills as necessary.
  • Conduct inventory counts as required.
  • Support cashier staff during peak times.
  • Maintain front-end supplies as needed.
  • Assist customers with merchandise pickups and carry-outs.
  • Collect shopping carts from the store.
  • Be vigilant for potential theft.
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and use store ladders safely.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Minimum age requirement of 16 years.
