We are seeking an experienced Inventory and Purchasing Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage purchasing, product intake, and product fulfillment to ensure the right mix of products are stocked to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with front of house team to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient product ordering.
- Utilize data analysis to make informed and strategic ordering decisions.
- Establish and nurture relationships with local growers and product vendors.
- Coordinate with vendors to determine product availability and manage all necessary documentation for purchase.
- Ensure purchase orders are built into inventory tracking systems to ensure all product is entered within 24 hours of receipt and ready for sale.
- Responsible for maintaining quality and regulatory compliance of all product in stock.
- 2+ years experience in cannabis inventory oversight, preferably in retail.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.
- Strong Knowledge of point-of-sale system and METRC.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with data integration and extraction from and to multiple diverse data sources and software programs.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
