Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist III to join our team at BCBSA Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our software products and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer application and server resources
  • Provide analysis, evaluation, and support of environment operation
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging of IT systems and products
  • Partner with business partners to identify and implement process improvements
  • Follow good documentation practices and contribute to application/system design

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 7+ years of IT work experience focused in production support
  • Experience as a team lead or member on project teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Expert knowledge of design, implementation, and management of Oracle, DB2, UDB, MySQL, MS SQL, Vertica
  • Strong analytical skills and team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in AWS data technologies such as Amazon RDS, Data lake, DynamoDB, Snowflake

Compensation

$107,667.00 - $150,995.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
