  • Assess, evaluate, interpret, and document patients' physical and mental status.

  • Promote patients' independence by establishing care goals, teaching patients and significant others, and answering questions.
  • Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes, and making necessary adjustments.

  • Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
