Job Overview

As a Billing Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for submitting and/or following up on all claims for multiple payors, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement. You will work independently and make sound decisions when necessary, utilizing strong problem-solving skills to resolve billing issues.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in a clerical capacity, preferably with working knowledge of large sums of cash. Previous public contact experience is also beneficial, as well as excellent communication skills. A high school diploma is required, and we offer tuition reimbursement opportunities for those looking to advance their education.

In this role, you will analyze daily electronic billing reports for errors, perform daily reconciliation of claim submission and receipt, and ensure rejected claims are corrected and rebilled successfully. You will also follow up on unpaid or denied claims for multiple payers, actively working on assigned worklists and proactively addressing problems and issues encountered in billing or follow-up.

Our estimated salary range for this position is between $45,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
