About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Nuvance Health | GoHealth Urgent Care in Kingston, NY.

Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will work collaboratively with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to provide high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for performing various technical procedures, applying prescribed ionizing radiation, and analyzing patient x-rays to assist in diagnosis or treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants to manage patient care, ensuring seamless communication and efficient organization.
  • Exercise professional judgment to apply x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients across all age groups.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program required.
  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required.
  • NYS licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.
