About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Early Childhood Leader to join our team. As a Head Teacher, you will oversee the daily operations of our childcare center and ensure the well-being of our students.

Estimated Salary: $17.25-$19.00 per hour

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of young children. As a Childcare Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans and schedules for each child.
  • Partner with parents to establish open communication channels and share progress updates.
  • Fulfill OCFS training and internal professional development requirements.
  • Prioritize self-care to ensure the thriving of our agency.
Qualifications
  • Candidates must hold a minimum of a CDA (Child Development Associates) certification and meet all New York State Licensing and NAEYC requirements.
  • Previous experience working with children aged six weeks to five years old is highly desirable.
