Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive functional testing of the company's electronic products.
  • Diagnose and resolve board-level failures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on prototype evaluations.
  • Document detailed failure symptoms during testing to aid in component-level diagnostics.
  • Adhere to established manufacturing processes and quality standards throughout production.
  • Follow all relevant work instructions to ensure accurate testing and repair procedures.
  • Proactively identify issues and their underlying causes, contributing to effective solutions.
  • Engage in discussions regarding technical and procedural challenges with supervisors and engineering personnel, proposing enhancements for operational efficiency.
  • Report product and process concerns to management and assist in resolution efforts.
  • Maintain compliance with corporate safety and production protocols, ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.

Qualifications

  • Electronics certification from an accredited technical or engineering institution.
  • A minimum of two years' experience as an electronics technician in a manufacturing testing environment.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and identifying electronic and mechanical failure modes.
  • Experience with testing instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and written instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage job-related stress effectively.
  • Fluency in English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Capability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
