Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Trust Officers and the broader Client Service Team to strengthen client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
  • Work closely with the team to uncover client needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their financial objectives.
  • Manage the investments of clients on their discretionary investment accounts, ensuring that their financial goals are met.
  • Schedule regular client meetings to review investment performance and provide guidance on asset allocation.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, maintaining the trust and confidence of clients.
  • Monitor investment performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure that clients' financial goals are on track.
  • Prepare comprehensive investment reviews to present to clients, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests for investment services, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Travel to various bank branches to educate local teams about services available to clients and to develop new client relationships.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support and promote the Bank's vision, mission, and core values, as well as its organizational structure and policies and procedures.
  • Comply with federal and state regulations, as well as all established Bank policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the Bank.
Requirements
  • Excellent analysis, observation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to rapidly determine key priorities and allocate resources effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain effective relationships with clients, board members, officers, employees, and members of the business and civic community.
  • Ability to work and remain composed in stressful circumstances, providing strong, compassionate, and visible leadership that fosters positive attitudes and trust among employees, customers, and prospects.
  • Knowledge of investment markets and wealth management, including investments, trusts, and financial planning.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support.
  • Operational and/or client service experience, preferably in an asset/wealth management/brokerage environment.
  • Experience interfacing with outside vendors, such as custodians, fund companies, and administrators.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance, with a concentration in asset/wealth management preferred.
  • Ability to engage an audience and possess effective presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Progress toward CFA or CFP certification preferred, with a requirement to have or obtain a Series 65 license or higher.
  • Ability to be physically present in the Bank to perform job duties, with a commitment to maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
