Anesthesia Technician

As an Anesthesia Technician with Henry Ford Health System, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services. Under the general supervision of medical personnel, you will be responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies, equipment, and drugs for anesthesia providers. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in preparing operating rooms and performing routine laboratory testing and equipment maintenance. You will also assist physicians and nurses as needed during Operating Room emergencies, utilizing your strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with the healthcare team.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a patient care environment is preferred, as is experience in equipment repair. You must be able to lift and move patients, supplies, and equipment, and be able to stand and walk for long periods. Successful completion of a 180-day probationary period is required to achieve knowledge of policies relative to job duties and patient care unit.
Certifications/Licenses:
