Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our Surgical Services team at Henry Ford Health System. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our medical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock and maintain supplies, equipment, and drugs for anesthesia providers
  • Prepare operating rooms and perform routine laboratory testing and equipment maintenance
  • Assist physicians and nurses during Operating Room emergencies
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in patient care environment preferred
  • Previous experience in equipment repair is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move patients, supplies, and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Certifications/Licenses
  • BCLS highly desirable
  • ASATT certification preferred
