Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports timely and accurate audit of non-gaming revenue and related reporting.
  • Anticipates ongoing changes, problems, and opportunities in order to maintain effective systems and procedures.
  • Ensures activities contained in internal control submissions are in compliance with Massachusetts Gaming Commission regulations.
  • Coordinates and prepares all related records and internal controls.
  • Ensures compliance of all department and company policies, procedures, internal controls, and government regulations.
  • Prepares accurate accounting journal entries to post to the company General Ledger in accordance with department procedures and controls.
  • Performs non-gaming audits for various revenue centers using disparate source systems and reporting sets.
  • Prepares accurate financial data for the company's Daily Operating Report.
  • Collaborates with outlet management to resolve cashier over/short variances in a timely manner.
  • Organizes, audits, and stores transactional media backup to ensure compliance with company controls.
  • Provides excellent guest service by telephone or email while resolving transactional inquiries.
  • Researches and resolves guest folio disputes and prepares documentation for chargebacks.
  • Completes month-end balance sheet reconciliations including research of variances.
Requirements:
  • 21 years of age or above.
  • Will be required to obtain and maintain a Gaming license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Accounting, Finance, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
