About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to join our team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical cycle counts are performed, accurate inventory levels are maintained, and account for all defective or damaged products.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead an inventory team, train and motivate staff, evaluate and guide their performance, and nurture their professional development.
  • Support leadership and Human Resources to ensure Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs are embraced and valued.
  • Identify new techniques and analytics to improve the overall planning process.
  • Lead the annual cost planning process ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Oversee and monitor discrepancies via cycle counts and adjustments.
  • Implement loss prevention programs to reduce shrinkage and minimize risk.
  • Build a recovery program to ensure all defective product is accounted for and handled properly.
  • Promote accountability and process improvement based on goals; create action plans and issue resolution tracking.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all inventory roles.
  • Create all necessary reports and documentation to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Drive accountability and process improvement based on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and targets, including creating action plans and issue resolution tracking.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in a distribution environment.
  • 5+ years in an inventory role.
  • 3+ years in a leadership position.
  • 3+ years of WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience.
  • Experience handling Tech goods in a 3PL environment is strongly preferred.
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is a plus.
