About the Role:

Penske is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating Forklifts and Warehouse Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
  • Product Staging and Sorting: Accurately stage and sort products for loading, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trailers, ensuring secure and damage-free transportation of goods.
  • Inventory Management: Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas, maintaining a well-organized and efficient inventory system.
  • Packaging and Shipping: Package or kit finished product for shipping, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to customers.

Requirements:

  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurate and thorough in product staging, sorting, and inventory management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, with regular exposure to warehouse environments.
