Job Title: Bus Dispatcher

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bus Dispatcher to join our team at MV Transportation. As a Bus Dispatcher, you will be responsible for directing the day-to-day transit fixed route operation and reporting to the Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct the day-to-day transit fixed route operation
  • Report to the Operations Supervisor
  • Communicate with drivers and clients
  • Organize and conduct activities to assure safe, cost-effective, on-time operating performance
  • Track and report sign-in/sign-out times
  • Assure routes are timely
  • Communicate service issues to the Road Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, or General Manager as appropriate
Qualifications:
  • One (1) year previous Dispatcher experience preferred
  • Two (2) years of Customer Service experience is preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel & Word)
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate a high customer service commitment
  • Able to demonstrate professional phone manner
