Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Proposal Coordinator and Estimator to join our growing team in the fields of Construction Materials Testing, Special Inspections, and Geotechnical Engineering Services. In this entry-level role, you will work closely with pursuit leaders and business development personnel to help create effective proposals and presentations, as well as assist in estimating costs and resources for construction projects while building relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of material testing, special inspections, and geotechnical engineering, along with strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn, ensuring the timely development and submission of high-quality proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technical teams to gather insights and craft detailed, persuasive proposals for current and prospective clients.
  • Manage the entire proposal process, ensuring the timely submission of accurate documents.
  • Develop and maintain a repository of proposal content, statistics, and other relevant materials.
  • Conduct basic market research to identify new trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities.
  • Create and update marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, website content, and social media.
  • Work with subject matter experts to translate complex technical information into engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials and communication channels.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's brand identity.
  • Support business development by nurturing strong relationships with existing clients and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Gather client feedback and integrate it into marketing strategies to enhance overall client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, journalism, creative writing, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in marketing and proposal development, ideally within the field of Construction Material Testing, Special Inspections, and Geotechnical services.
  • Familiarity with engineering and construction terminology.
  • Solid grasp of interpreting project plan sheets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • A team player who can also thrive when working independently.
