Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Sabert. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile monthly physical inventory of raw materials and publish reports.
  • Perform audits of movement history to determine root cause of reconciliation errors.
  • Audit production work orders to ensure correct components are being consumed, including daily reconciliation of COGI errors.
  • Research inventory back-flushing errors, determine root cause, and recommend corrective action.
  • Reconcile SAP WIP material issues, conduct physical checks for components still available after production runs, and publish data and follow up on corrective action.
  • Be a resource for the Quality department for inventory reporting.
  • Determine and publish warehouse capacity utilization as well as cycle count bin accuracy.
  • Coordinate physical and transactional scrapping of material once authorization has been given.
  • Train associates on cycle count procedures and transactions.
  • Assist with safety administration, maintain OSHA logs, and Near Miss reporting.
  • Provide support for safety toolbox topic meetings and maintain daily safety Gemba walks.
  • Assist employees with LMS training and handle local safety activities as needed.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience working within a manufacturing or plant-like operation, with experience working with employees at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong reasoning abilities and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and juggle multiple initiatives.
  • Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, and SAP system).
Working Conditions

Working Environment: Safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes are required. Task-specific PPE may be required.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may continuously use hands and fingers to position and arms to reach. The employee may frequently bend and move about the work area. The employee may occasionally remain in a stationary position, ascend/descend steps, push and pull, and communicate. The employee may occasionally move and position up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
