Position Overview

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in the avionics or electrical domain; or two (2) years of specialized aviation electronics training coupled with four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred: A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) certification.
  • Preferred: Other FCC Licenses.
  • Preferred: Other NCATT certifications.

Role Objective:

  • Deliver leadership, technical knowledge, and support in the evaluation and repair of avionics and electronic systems to guarantee aircraft are free from defects.
  • Exhibit advanced technical abilities in troubleshooting to reduce schedule disruptions.
  • Implement procedural modifications aimed at cost efficiency without compromising safety or quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct team members in avionics testing and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ensure high-quality installation and prompt repairs of systems.
  • Conduct operational tests effectively and document all activities performed.
  • Supervise adherence to engineering modifications and safety protocols.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Educate on the installation and testing of avionics components.
  • Examine avionics functionalities and perform flight tests as necessary.
  • Execute other assigned tasks as required.

Other Qualifications:

  • Expertise in troubleshooting various aircraft systems.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
