Aviation Technology Associates, LLC is a leading provider of innovative avionics solutions, seeking a seasoned expert to join our team as a Senior Avionics Systems Specialist in Savannah, GA.

Position Overview:

This key role will lead the efforts of our avionics team, ensuring the successful installation, testing, and maintenance of complex avionics systems. As a seasoned specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating wire harnesses, installing, terminating, and testing avionics/electrical systems, while collaborating closely with our engineering team to resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to our avionics team, ensuring timely completion of projects and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Design, fabricate, and install wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.
  • Train and mentor junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to resolve complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Ensure a defect-free assembly prior to final inspection, enforcing our company's FOD program, tool control program, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Electronics or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in avionics/electronic career field, with a strong background in electrical systems and installation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
