As a key member of our home medical equipment delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining home medical equipment to our patients.

Responsibilities:

* Schedule deliveries with customers and make phone calls prior to delivery
* Prepare equipment/supplies for delivery to client by making sure it is complete and in safe and proper working order prior to leaving warehouse and home
* Deliver equipment/supplies to client's place of residence and in-house, set up equipment according to Mercy Home Care's policy, manufacturer's instructions, and provide exceptional service
* Communicate to client pertinent Mercy Home Care services and billing information
* Complete all documentation (such as sales orders, equipment checklist) and submit within 24 hours of delivery. Enter PHI data into the HME software, create sales order, and document patient notes
* Instruct, observe and document client/family return demonstrations on the correct and safe use of equipment
* Maintain company vehicle to be clean and in good working order. Document vehicle maintenance
* Assist with inventory management, recording inventory levels, re-stocking, cleaning equipment, assisting with preventative maintenance and repair activities
* Record lot numbers (when required) into computer system/spreadsheet for regulatory compliance. Enter preventative maintenance of serialized equipment into HME software system
* Report client non-compliance with prescribed equipment to manager for appropriate follow-up as well as any environmental concerns in the client's home

Requirements:

* High School diploma or GED required
* Previous home care and/or delivery experience, preferred
* A minimum of one-year recent general work experience required
