Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable Process Management
    • Review and process invoices for accuracy and completeness
    • Verify vendor information and ensure compliance with company policies
    • Manage the accounts payable inbox and direct emails to appropriate personnel
  • Vendor Management
    • Maintain and update vendor database to ensure accuracy
    • Oversee sales and use tax applications on invoices
  • Payment Processing
    • Process checks and ACH batch processing
    • Manage check stuffing and mailing
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Monitor aged payable report for assigned divisions
    • Take necessary action for overdue items
  • Reconciliation and Documentation
    • Reconcile vendor statements and handle missing documentation
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Support the integration of new acquisitions and transition towards a paperless environment
    • Assist with audit documentation and participate in AP workflow process integration
Requirements
  • Experience
    • 2+ years of accounts payable experience
  • Skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Word
    • Sage 300 Accounting System
    • Strong grasp of basic accounting principles
    • Excellent problem-solving, research, and resolution skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Education
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred
