Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for managing the daily workflow of the department, providing constructive and timely performance evaluations, and ensuring billings and receivables are correctly processed in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily workflow of the department, ensuring efficient and effective processing of customer invoices.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations to team members, using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure accurate and prompt processing and payment of customer invoices, addressing and correcting any discrepancies in accounts or billings.
  • Conduct credit checks on new and potential customers, serving as a liaison between clients and AR specialists to negotiate acceptable payment plans.
  • Refer overdue accounts to collections, providing or facilitating accurate reports and analysis on financial data and metrics.
  • Assist manager with analysis of data and reports, organizing weekly meetings to communicate information and guidance from company leadership.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of policies and procedures used in accounts receivable and billing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree in business or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • At least three years of related experience preferred.
  • Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
