About the Role
We are currently in search of a skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heavy equipment mechanics, particularly in troubleshooting and repairing well drilling machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with customer well drilling equipment.
  • Conduct repairs on diesel and gas engines.
  • Service hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Operate heavy machinery as required.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to procure necessary parts.
  • Complete repair documentation for invoicing purposes.
  • Travel throughout New England and the East Coast for on-site repairs (up to 75% travel required).
  • Lift and handle weights of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with heavy equipment.
  • Proficient in diagnostics and documentation.
  • Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Ability to weld and fabricate components.
  • A CDL license is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience operating large trucks and equipment.
  • Familiarity with large screw compressors.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Able to travel and spend extended periods away from home.
  • Possess a clean D.O.T. record.

Education and Certifications
  • High school diploma or GED; with one to three years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • DOT Certification.
  • OEM Engine Certifications.
  • Air Brake Certification.
  • ASE Diesel Mechanic Certification.
