At Waccamaw EOC, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Weatherization Assessment Specialist to join our team.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

This role requires the individual to work under direct supervision to assist residents with energy assistance needs. Key responsibilities include assessing potential dwellings, conducting eligibility determinations, and preparing necessary program documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Determine client eligibility by assisting in assessments of potential dwellings.
  • Conduct necessary follow-up tasks with clients, including on-site visits, to verify assistance provided.
  • Prepare necessary forms and documentation for program services.
  • Collaborate with other Human Services Agencies to meet assistance needs for potential clients.
  • Assist in data input, documentation, and management of client information files/folders.
  • Perform pre- and post-testing of dwellings according to State and Federal guidelines.
  • Work effectively with Agency staff and other entities to best serve clients.
Qualifications
  • High School education or equivalent required; two years of varied business and administrative experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing, as well as present program reports.
  • Familiarity with data and physical inspections.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record required.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds.
