New York Blood Center Enterprises (NYBCe) is seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to serve as the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Laboratory Services. This critical role will oversee the day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and business development of our clinical laboratories, ensuring the delivery of high-quality testing services and products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the clinical laboratories, aligning with the overall organizational goals.
- Lead a team of laboratory professionals in the development and implementation of new technologies and methodologies to enhance testing and manufacturing capabilities and efficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate laboratory operations seamlessly into broader organizational strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including GMP, CLIA, and FDA regulations.
- Develop and execute a cross-functional plan to integrate and upgrade the customer experience from intake and client service through production and results reporting and data communication.
- B.S./M.S./PhD in Medical Technology or Applied Science, or M.D. with background in transfusion medicine, medical laboratory, or related specialty.
- 10 years of blood banking or comprehensive laboratory experience, with five years at managerial level.
- Relevant published research in peer-reviewed journals is highly desirable.
- NYS Lab Technologist preferred.
- MT (ASCP) certification preferred.
New York Blood Center Enterprises offers a competitive salary range of $350,000.00 to $375,000.00 per year, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
