Modem and RF System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Modem and RF System Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our system engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing modem systems features and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with RF and modem teams to develop and implement AGC algorithms and RF modeling activities.
- Develop RF models for link-level simulations, analyze and characterize the results, and provide mitigation and optimization guidelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of modem systems with other hardware and software components.
- Deep knowledge of communication system theory and signal processing.
- Experience with RF systems, RF impairment modeling, and mitigation techniques.
- Knowledge of cellular communication standards, including 5G NR, 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G GSM.
- Fluent in Matlab, C/C++, and/or Python for algorithm development, modeling, and link-level simulation.
- Strong analytical skills, including linear algebra, random processes, detection, and estimation.
- Competitive base pay range of $166,600 to $296,300, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
