Position Overview:

Thermo King is seeking a dedicated Service Operations Coordinator to support our Service Department. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth administrative functions that contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.
  • Welcome service clients with a friendly demeanor.
  • Conduct inspections of newly received equipment for any damages prior to logging.
  • Notify the sales team via email regarding incoming equipment installations.
  • Record and address customer feedback and complaints.
  • Create and manage work orders effectively.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with service management regarding job progress.
  • Keep clients updated on the status of their service requests.
  • Prepare work orders for final review and billing processes.
  • Uphold a strong commitment to safety standards in all operations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Capable of sitting for extended periods.
  • Work environment includes office settings as well as outdoor and workshop areas.
  • May require working beyond standard hours on occasion.
  • Involves some bending, lifting, and manual dexterity tasks.
  • Normal vision is required, with or without corrective lenses.
