Position SummaryIn the role of Housekeeping Assistant Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Housekeeping Manager to oversee all in-house housekeeping and laundry operations. Your responsibilities will encompass daily payroll monitoring, scheduling, inventory management, employee training, and ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Senior Housekeeping Manager in managing daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments.
- Adapt to challenges with a calm and solutions-oriented approach.
- Train staff on established SCMR policies and procedures; update and implement new guidelines as necessary.
- Create daily and weekly work schedules for housekeeping and laundry personnel to ensure sufficient coverage.
- Monitor daily progress of housekeeping tasks and make adjustments as required.
- Assist with payroll processing in Quickbooks Time and address any significant discrepancies with the Senior Housekeeping Manager.
- Maintain and manage housekeeping supply inventory; order supplies as needed to uphold par levels.
- Promote a culture of safety among housekeeping staff and conduct necessary safety training.
- Ensure timely completion of all tasks with the expected quality standards.
- Follow up on housekeeping assignments to guarantee compliance with company standards.
- Assist the Senior Housekeeping Manager with performance evaluations and feedback.
- Help coordinate and track off-season projects, including deep cleans and restocking tasks.
- Regularly inspect housekeeping storage and laundry facilities; delegate tasks based on observations.
- Organize and assign housekeeping duties for new property additions and those exiting the rental program.
- $58,000 - $67,000 per year
