About the Role:

As an Engineering and Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager at Target, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high performance of our supply chain facilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a reliability-centered maintenance culture within your team, ensuring high equipment availability, and driving success for the operation of the supply chain facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants, and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Software Technicians to achieve exceptional results.
  • Cultivate a sense of urgency and quality focus, delivering solutions for challenging problems and working with building leaders to optimize the use of material handling equipment.
  • Manage external contractors, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet tough timelines.
  • Develop a continuous improvement ethic in your team by following a data-driven process focused on root cause elimination.
  • Improve the reliability of the system through ownership in defect handling, breakdown elimination, and planning and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to accomplish engineering and maintenance departmental goals.

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in Engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures.
  • Ability to manage, lead, and influence others on a team while prioritizing multiple projects.
  • Experience with multi-contractor management.
  • Self-motivated and customer-centric.
  • Excellent PC competency.
