About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled General Manager to oversee our multi-station audio group in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving financial success, operational efficiency, and brand positioning across radio, digital, and low-powered television stations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the audio industry, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional content.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with company goals
• Lead an effective organizational structure for the market
• Establish professional relationships with clients, other media organizations, and industry leaders
• Identify opportunities for growth and innovation, including digital initiatives and emerging technologies
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to maintain a competitive edge
• Recruit, hire, and develop a talented team
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management
• Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation
• Oversee budget development and management, revenue and expense monitoring, and contract negotiations
• Collaborate with programming directors to develop engaging content
• Ensure adherence to FCC regulations and industry standards

Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the radio/audio industry, with at least 6 years in a management role
• Proven track record of success in driving revenue and audience growth
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate teams
• Strong understanding of FCC, SEC, and EEO regulations and industry best practices

Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000 per year
