Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Vendor Operations Manager to oversee our Dispute Operations. This role is essential for enhancing efficiency, ensuring quality, and improving customer satisfaction, which are vital for the success of Dispute Operations. The incumbent will cultivate robust relationships with vendors and manage vendor-related functions effectively. This position is integral to our operations team, dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our Credit Unions and Member Owners. The ideal candidate excels in dynamic environments and has a proven track record of resourcefulness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage vendor relationships, including establishing new connections, overseeing daily interactions, and addressing escalations as needed.
  • Foster strong partnerships with key business areas and support functions to ensure effective vendor management.
  • Oversee vendor-related expenses, implement cost controls, and enhance vendor performance and strategy.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on key performance indicators related to vendor activities.
  • Ensure vendor relationships are nurtured to provide superior customer experiences and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate vendor performance through established metrics and scorecards.
  • Collaborate proactively with vendors to enhance departmental outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while managing vendor performance.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with vendors to ensure timely responses to assigned tasks.
  • Act as the primary contact for all vendor interactions in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Utilize data-driven decision-making to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Drive organizational efficiency and value through strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement policies to facilitate smooth business operations.
  • Coordinate tasks and resources to ensure seamless operations with vendors and internal departments.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to resolve complex operational challenges.
  • Manage both existing and new vendor relationships effectively.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating accountability and initiative.
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate departments as necessary.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Travel to vendor locations and headquarters for business reviews as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Leadership Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and leadership to team members, ensuring adherence to processes and standards.
  • Manage recruitment, promotions, performance evaluations, and staff development.
  • Support staff growth through necessary training and mentorship.
  • Ensure all team duties align with departmental performance expectations.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in customer service within Dispute Operations, fraud detection, or vendor management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.

Education
  • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
