We are currently in search of a skilled print textile designer to enhance our creative team. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Key Responsibilities:

The print textile designer will be tasked with:

  • Developing and preparing artwork for production
  • Creating comprehensive tech packages for factory-ready artwork
  • Refining hand-drawn designs for printing purposes
  • Organizing artwork and making necessary color adjustments
  • Recoloring existing designs to align with seasonal trends
  • Generating colorway options tailored to specific design categories
  • Producing original artwork inspired by various sources

Essential Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in home fashion textile design
  • A degree in Textile Design or a related discipline is preferred
  • Proven expertise in working with printed textiles
  • Thorough understanding of artwork indexing and repeat creation
  • Advanced knowledge of Photoshop (Illustrator skills are a plus)
  • Strong color sense for developing colorways
  • Ability to paint and draw from scratch is advantageous
  • Familiarity with jacquards and woven textiles is beneficial
  • Understanding of textile printing techniques is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing digital files and vendor information
  • Strong technical knowledge and a desire to exceed expectations
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Capacity to handle various priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
